Homework 1^st – 5^th February

Maths	·         Continue to practice the multiplication and division tables. This can be done independently using the interactive games. ·         One worksheet – half and half. One half based on finding a fraction of a number and the other half word problems. Work can be completed on page.
Gaeilge	·         Spellings can be found on pages 36, 37, 38 & 39. We are focusing on the weather next month so I’m going to skip ahead in the book so the spellings match the topic. ·         Duolingo – 50XP challenge. It is ok to repeat already covered topics. Repetition will lead to mastery.
English	·         Read the first chapter of Kensuke’s Kingdom. Parent can read to child if too difficult. We will be doing a whole class activity based on chapter one on Friday so more important that the children understand what is happening. Spellings can also be found in folder and on the blog.
